Simply amazing! That really is a huge step for mobile camera. Only Nokia impressed me this year, as they are the only company that improved something drastically. Every other company is making small steps which can be hardly impressive, like going from two cores to four cores, when you can't really see the difference, increasing the megapixel count while quality is practically the same... Nokia should win all the awards in terms of technology and innovations for this.

The quality of PureView is so high, that I could even ditch Android for it (I can say that, I'm pretty addicted to it now, mostly because of google account with my contacts & stuff, and all the apps), but it's way too expensive, there is no possibility I can afford that But I'm hoping that Nokia will make many great phones with that camera, they can't waste such achievement.

For a mobile device, that is, but since it was written this way, the best consumer sub medium format sensors are still Sony produced I'm eager to see how good 808 would do on a DxOmark

PS: pardon me for posting a known fact, it's just that I'm clearing things up in this thread for objectivity's sake

anyway to give ourselves a clear view of how sensor sizes stack against each other, and to inform others what the heck I'm talking about with this "Medium Format" thing
