ISO 800 Very good! try to take a picture set ISO 100 please use the self-timer. I'm curious?
If you do not have a tripod lean on something
Do not point the lens when the lanterns because the picture will be too bright

I kept it dead still on a wall I have very steady hands. The night scene automatically set it to ISO 800. But for a cheap budget smartphone I have certainly seen alot worse but obviously nothing next to the 808

Rain where you see around the street lamp. But it isn't bad at all for a cheap phone

Night shots around Birmingham central last night but I struggled. I was often blown about by the wind and the rain was relentless and really blowing at me

couldn't really concentrate but the Lumia 720 does well, all taken on auto but as always there is some noise

Cheers. People tend to jump in there on hot summer days or nights. Will try to experiment next time with ISO as one recent shot i did on ISO 200 clearer out with alot less noise, clearer albeit slightly darker. I love doing night shots. I had the nice advantage last night of wet ground which gives nice reflections. @del it looks like my Ireland trip is back on. Going to fast track my passport as you do need it now for Ireland. So will be seeing relations and some brilliant scenery around Dalkey/Killiney and Wicklow. Have loads of family there

Yes beautiful places. Look for Killiney hill images on Google you'll see it's lovely. My mothers fave place too where we scattered her ashes. It faces the Wicklow mountains. Dalkey was my mother home town. People like Bono live in Killiney
