In my opinion the HTC made three serious mistakes with this phone:
First mistake: repeated a design that 3 years ago there, even mistake made by Sony with the Z series.
Second mistake: They insisted on a FullHD display when absolutely all the other flagships already use QHD displays, error also made by Sony.
Third mistake: Low quality sound recording in UltraHD, audio bit rate (64 Kbps) and audio sampling rate (48.0 KHz) is completely unacceptable.
