If you have to believe in Christianity/Judaism to be Muslim, why do the Palestinians and their fellow Middle-Eastern Arabs seem determined to inhabit a world in which Israel cannot exist. This not just a sweeping statement - I point to the rejection of his own demands by Arafat at Camp David. The fact of the matter is that none of the other Arab countries, with vast expanses of available territory and a far better level of possible cultural integration, want anything to do with the Palestinians. Yet the tiny little pocket of the Middle East that is Israel, the ONLY secure homeland of the Jews, must too be occupied by Arabs.
And finally, we all agree that Bush is only in it for the oil, but only time will tell if his actions, whatever the reasons, are the right ones, but personally I hope there are no fundamentalist terrorist loonies left by the time he's finished with them. I'm no fan of Bush - I think he's as much of a stupid wanker as all of you, believe me - but what has to be done has to be done.
G-d Bless America!

u must be joking...!
bush will NEVER finish terrorism behaving like this...
he is only feeding terrorism whith a f*ucking shovel...
haven't u ever questioned why terrorism happens?...
it's exactly because of these power displays by the US!!!
there is no other way to damage uncle sam's armour, so that's what they'r gonna do... it won't end! it won't stop!
someone over there should really humble up... 'cause some of the innocent americans are going to pay in spades AGAIN and AGAIN...
people in UK, in my country and in spain are going to pay just as well just for kissing bush's butt so openly...
american foreign policy will only poke them untill they become more and more blinded with rage, witnessing such injustices.

What do you guys think about Turkey? You haven't mentioned anything about it... We are going into the war, too.. But -unlike your thoughts- not for money, cause Colin Powell (or whatever it is spelled) just announced that they aren't giving any money to Turkey. We are entering there to protect our country - especially from PKK curds who are after a Curdish Government and who also wants half of our land... We are not after any Iraq petrols or anything like that - we are only defending our country... We are not entering the war for US either...
PS: Maybe we wont see but US will go down for sure... Look at Ottoman empire; they were one of the strongest but they don't exist anymore...

if the usa is going down like the roman or the ottoman empire, it will be a long time before that happens. the roman empire lasted for almost 2,000 years while the ottoman empire almost 1,000. most of the nations here now will also not exist by then including all of us.
the countdown continues and when that ends i have no choice but to send in my storm troopers, panzer divisions and my lufwaffe.

It is in fact the US and UK that has undermined the UN. The fact that the US has said that they would go to war no matter what the UN decides (which he has been doing for months) shows that the US has no respect for the UN and in fact for democracy. And now they are blaming it on the french when it is in fact only the US, UK, Spain and Bulgaria that are for a war.
How come a country who is saying that they will give democracy to Iraq doesn't know a thing about democracy. The US has clearly not followed the "democracy" path in the UN. No, they were saying either you agree with us and we start the war or you don't agree with us and we will start the war anyway.
Makes one think what kind of view Bush has on democracy, doesn't it?
Even Kofi Annan stated that US going to war without an approval of the UN would be in breach of international rights.
The US and UK should be punished for starting war like any country whoch goes to war without UN backing.
Also the US are now stating that they have the authority to start a war under the resolution 1441. Which is not true, no country has any right to decied that Iraq has not lived up to the resolution. This is a decision that should be made by the UN security council and not by an individual country (or three countries infact).
If UN would decied (with a majority vote) that force is necessary then the UN can give US,UK the athourity to carry out an attack on Iraq. And that decision can not be made by the US, no matter how much they beleive it.
It just shows the disrespect the US has for international laws and it only will cause the hatred for the US to grow even stornger around the globe. Which would surely lead to more terrorist attacks which targets the US.
Oh, and how do Bush expect countries to live up to the UN rules when clearly the US are just igonoring the very same rules?
I surely hope that the people in the US and UK will not give Bush and Blair what they deserve in the next elections.
BTW the speech Bush gave was full of claims that have no proofs. Like Iraqi links to Al-Queida (which has not been proven), the statement that WMD from Iraq is "given" to terrorist groups. He makes the claims sound like proven facts which they in fact are not (far from it).
It is almost like the claims his father made (Bush senior in 1991) when he was going to war against Iraq, when he said that the Iraqi army was killing babys in their incubators. Which were later proven to be just plain lies.

dave_uk,
YES, every muslim MUST believe in christianity and judaism,etc...this is what it says in the Coran...We even call Moses, Jesus,etc...the prophets of the only one GOD there is, which is OF COURSE the same for you,me,etc...
I strongly desagree with you when u say that the arabs occupy the Jewish land. It is the jews who did after ENGLAND gave it to them after the holaucost. AND this is the only point where i will not change my mind. EVEN if many think that we "muslims" took over israel.
And i would definitely understand the palestinians hatret on jews. Come on now...would u be happy if FRANCE came to england or canada came to america and said your country is mine....COME ON NOW...I m sure u would kill anyone who wants to take over your country, so this is exactly what the palestininas are against. THEY dont want noone to come and say well we have been given this land and we are staying...Sine the situation has been worse, now the only solution i think there is, is for these "two" countries:israel and palestine get together and live as one big nation, BUT THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL the US would let that happen...
