doc,
pati daw edged weapons na kahit na below 4-inches eh kinukumpiska na daw ng mga !!@!&*!! na so-called "law-enforcers". which leaves us law-abiding citizens very open to attacks by criminals! so, watch out for your expensive spyderco or coldsteel or CRKT or whatever valuable self-defense gadget you have.

clearly, the law-makers want the criminals to win the streets!

As for bladed weapons, I only have my trusty balisong(no self-respecting batangueno should be without one) its cheap at 100-200 pesos so they can have it gratis et amore. Still carry my firearms though. Our place is NPA and bandit infested, have to carry protection and at times a bodyguard when dealing with our tenant farmers and surveying our sugarlands located in the hinterlands. The authorities are really covering up their inadequacies by controlling only what is within reach and easy to control, even if they know fully well that we are not the enemy.

Hello there, big news here is that Globe has blocked access to esato thru wap. Made some extra dough and went ahead and got the HK USP .45 Standard from the same gun store 2 weeks ago and I totally love the gun. Its more stable than my 1911 and follow-up shots are a breeze.

Speaking of lara croft. Angelina Jolie must have really strong arms to hold up those usp match .45's with the barrel weights in front.:-) This message was posted from a T68i

yeah i noticed that! Globe blocked our access to Esato, via wap! KJs! bummer! swapang! well, now that we both have USPs.... teka, how about testing it on them...?

yes Ms.Croft must have strong arms to handle those USP Match 45s. not to mention an incredibly ambidextrious brain-to-arms-and-eye-and-back coordination and sending target info, and back again. and all under pressure of life and death! but hey, lets not spoil the fantasy....!

Damn Globe to hell, I'm using Sun now
Sorry, I made a mistake. On browsing HKPro.com I read that Ms. Croft/Jolie uses USP Match 9's. not .45's. Same thing, still stretches reality when she handles them, nice to look at though. In tomb raider 2 she will also be using the p11 underwater pistol with the 5 pre-sealed barrels. Looks like something out of science fiction but it exists in real life. Have you seen the SW99 in .45 cal trim? Think I want one, I'm not used to striker fired guns though. Having used glocks which are striker fired do you think the SW99 .45 is a good buy?

yeah i've seen pictures of that H&K USP Match that Croft uses, and am myself is surprised to see it being a 9mm (saw a clear picture in the official "Lara Croft the Movie" souvenir book). and yes.... remarkable capability to hit targets with an ambidextrious brain.

yeah i saw that new SW99 (in .45acp). and i want one too. but i hope they did what Glock did with theirs... they enlarged the whole barrel, spring, and slide design, and had more material support around the chamber. if you notice the difference between the older Walther/SW's 9mm and .40 ...the .40 has more material support around the chamber. if they do that... this new gun wins my vote.

i am used to striker igniters, no problem with me. actually these Walthers (or SWs) have more visual (and touch, or feel, during low light situations) indicators than the originator of this design (which is Glock) ....the Glock has no protruding pin behind the slide.

well, i must be using Glocks too much, than my USP, that i got used to the whole striker thing.... and the trigger quirks, the "no manual safety" scare, the plastic gun issue, etc.

pero Doc, this is a gun.... hence, it is another good addition to our growing list of our inanimate "friends". lets buy one!

One of the casualties of this gun control is the Steyr pistol which should have been introduced early this year. Sayang, the Steyr AUG was supposed to be introduced here, too... and the M4. I am just glad that gun stores went ahead and started selling the H&K USP Expert and USP Elite after the demise of the Trimark.
@boysaint: my 4-inch tanto folder is not expensive but it is a rare item. I guess it will have to stay hidden, right? I love it like I love my t68, it will stay with me kahit meron na akong p800. By the way, you can still use the nMMS to send to email accounts Check your email, I sent several pictures using nMMS. And YES! Sony-Ericsson finally learned how to market their phones. Check out those beautiful SE T610 girls at every mall!!! Clark27, hinay hinay lang!!! Breath!!!
