I've no experience with MA-8910C, but did you try downloading the latest version (currently 0.07.3) and turn on RTS flow control? Could you troubleshoot with Hyperterminal? Since 0.07.2, i expect FMA will work if "hyperterminal test" sucessfull. (i know RTS have to be set to 'Enable' for DCS-11)

float: ahhh like the nokia game sms's where the sender was listed as "nokia game" even though i didnt have that number in my phone? that freaked me out! ... but one thing... how do i enable it? i cant see an option (im probaly just blind) and another thing... when i press "dude where is my phone" it just says "Error Transmit command AT*ERIP=7,1" what does this mean ... and what is this dude where is my phone thingy?

Concerning connectivity, this morning I started using 0.07.3 and have noticed that I now get disconnected after a while of inactivity. Any thoughts? I was previously using 0.07 and it would never disconnect no matter how long I would leave it. I'm using
for all versions.
By the way, I am a web developer by profession and would be willing to help out with your site and/or mailing list if you like. I think what you're doing is great and would like to help if you like. Let me know.

Fixed bug introduced during adding of Alpha Sender ID support (thanks Chris again)
Remove ˇ§dirty fix for Joystick up eventˇ¨ and set character set to Latin-1 (8859-1) during initialization instead (thanks Sili for the info)
Remove my code character conversion as phone communicate in Latin-1 character set, this results in a ˇ§more correctˇ¨ keypad even (Option Key is now ˇ§fˇ¨ rather than L) (Tested only in T68i, might create problem on Siemen, subject to test)
Script no longer included in the distribution, please download separately

You doesn't "enable" it, it will be shown correctly if you ever receive that type of SMS, before the bug fix it will shows a banch of hexadecimal string as sender id.
I've removed "Dude..." as it doesn't work anymore since i upgraded to T68i. All it does is make your phone ring, just a showcase of the script usage.

I don't think i've added extra code that will cause disconnection after inactivity, but try playing with the flow control setting, i think it is the only place which it could be wrong. Please keep me posted...
I would definatelly needs your help. The page is currently created on MS-Word and it's huge as a simple webpage. The only problem is the information keeps updating... please contact me via email and we shall discuss. Thanks.

i've downloaded the newest version just an hour ago, but i have to tell you, that this version doesn't work on my laptop.
i have installed mobileagent itself and the ms script control. i'm using win98 se german language !
i get the following error message when i try to start the program:
Exeption EReadError in module MOBILEAGENT.EXE at 0001C5A7.
Error reading ScriptControl.Language: A script engine for the specifies language can not be created.
do you have any idea ?

This error usually occur in win95 machine without at least IE4 and DCOM installed, but since you're on win98se, that doesn't applies to you.
A search in the usenet tells me that your scripting engine or the VBScript subcomponent might be corrupted or incompatible. You might want to download it (different from the script control you downloaded) here:

If the problem persist, you could delete the file mobileagent.scp and try; it will be running without scripting functionalities.

Sorry for not writing any documentation
It is there, when you move your mouse near the line (between left and right area, between top and bottom area) the mouse cursor should change shape and just click and drag. The change/resize persist.
