The P800 will become obsolete soon, but thats good news for the people with P800s and insurance...
If theres no P800, the nearest thing will be the P900...

Well to tell you the truth i think the p900 has lesser life than 9 months in my opinion because its almost the same phone.

actually, i reckon they gonna market it much much more than the p800.
They've used the p800 to find the bugs, and fixed them in the p900, primarily the stylus, and the flip, that have been fixed.
Now all they have to do is seel it as the "perfect smartphone" cos it more or less is

where do you get off judging people on your own standards? I work in Thailand, I could laugh at what you guys get to live in for a 100k while all day long you guys would laugh at the fact I get to pay double for crap phones and 3x for the good ones with little to no support.
Only lately has this disparity decreased due a falling out between the two biggest companies/monopolies, so I was fortunate to get the p800 for 800 dollars with no upgrades ever, wow what a steal.

Skitzo, did it ever occur to you that some people are actually WEALTHY and are able to afford whatever they like?
So what's a few grand to a person who's worth much more than that? Heck, I"m not even rich, but for the amount I make I can honestly easily afford to buy that phone. But to me, its too much to pay for a phone (even one as grand as the P900) and so, I'll wait till the price drops...but that too, is my choice.
That's life, so be an adult and deal with it instead of passing judgement and insulting a person who's spending the money that he/she worked for.

As far as people saying that the units are pre-release and are Betas, you need to get a grip and understand how marketing, manufacturing and distribution works.
If a company tells you an item will be shipped on a date, you'd best believe that its already been in the stores WEEKS in advance.
Think about it.
When demand rises, how will the sellers get the items on time if they don't already have them in stock? There's shipping, taxes, tarrifs and charges that need to be dispensed with from border to border and large shipments of these goods still need to sent overseas to mulitple wholesalers and retailers.
It doesn't always work like this, but we've all seen this phone on so many sites MONTHS and MONTHS in advance of the Sony announcement.
Why do you all wanna act like its not already in circulation?

Finally…. I was losing hope that this site was going towards a downward spiral because of the several members that love to shoot their mouths first and think later (or not at all). Better yet it’s refreshing news that some members can actually spot those that flame first only to eat their words later, but do not have the cahones to step up afterwards. It is a shame.
By the way new samples will be available for download on the site later today. I’m so geeked on receiving my package today that I think I might actually put up one full file for download just for today. Or better grant 5 members on this board a temporary account to grab the file. Keep checking for updates..
