@jojo - I've often wondered if I can get friendly with some local phone shop, and see if I can buy faulty phones off them instead of Ebay. I've had these problems before - a also currently have a blocked 8310 as well.
I paid for the phone by PayPal, so unsure if I can get my money back or not. There is the possibility of course, even if it is a slim one, that the seller hasn't realised the phone's blocked e.g. reported the phone as broken, got a new one on his insurance, and this one's been blocked!
I'm not sure what to do with the T610 - I've just put a new screen on it - I can either sell it for spares only, or keep it myself and cannibalise it for spares for other T610s. There's always playing about with the IMEI, but that's quite illegal! Either that, or I might see if anyone on Esato's interested in it - it will work fine in other countries. It does need a new facia though, and a couple of keys need a some extra pressure to work....
Anyway, I'm threadjacking @gelfen's thread here!! Sorry mate! Hope you're fine anyway, and all's dandy down under!

@sammy_boy - Speaking of changing fones IMEIs, it is very common here in Manila for you to find one. I've asked once for the changing of the SE P800, and they told me that they can keep the fone running - again for just US$15.00 - very cheap indeed mate, I guess price is same with that of SE T610! All the illegal, counterfeits and fake items and even people at that, can be found here in my place! As they say . . . . 'only in the Philippines'!
