for the past few days, whenever i take a picture using the monkey frame (i havent tried with anything else) the phone decides to go white and blink at me for a few seconds before going back to the standby screen. this is odd. perhaps i should change my firmware??

I've had the phone for a week now and have tinkered with it constantly. I've had none of the problems listed above( still have the orig R2A041 FW), save for the fact that I do have to charge it everyday, unlike my t68i, which I know is an unfair comparison since the t68i doesn't even have half of the K700i's features. Considering that I exploit its features to the hilt(BT, File transfers, MP3 player, Radio, Videos etc. etc, I think that's a small price to pay. I love this phone.

K700i is a great phone (even with its "bugs") so for all the people who are saying SE are loosing there touch think again, and for thoes 6230 lovers out there, there is speculation that there will be a new (K700 based) T**** which includes memory stick duo (and maby even a megapixle camera), i just hope it comes out before or in january. this may not happen (i so hope it does) but anyhow k700 is a great phone overall and i think it is still proof that SE is the king of phones.

kr4nc states that "K700 has so many problems/bugs...".
I think that "K700 has so many features/functions...".
One other thing: It's obvious from information in previous posts that different SE K700 users using phones with the same FW version encounter and experience different incidents and problems. In any such case, the only obvious differences are 1) the phone users and 2) the things the phone users do with their phones.

Hi All,
Only problem I have had with my K700, is that for some odd reason I now don't have the clock "screensaver" and also if I get a text and my phone is on my now empty screensaver I have no way of telling. I have gone through the instruction book and it says that this is always available. Anyone got any ideas how to turn this back on....please!!!!

3) the phones. Imagine for example that SE got a reliability problem with the memory chips. It could explain why people have different problems with the same phone model.

I really hope that you are wrong about the reliability problems, but who knows? As QA in general seems to be taken less serious you might very well have a good point there.
Thanks for the completing!
