I think DiGi GPRS service is not stable yet as I discover it drain my battery up very fast when I switch the phone connection to GSM & GPRS. I suppose the phone will auto search for the GPRS signal when it loss the signal and is very often l loss the DiGi GPRS signal.

In Penang, I bought at RM 1688 more than a month ago and is the cheapest and now it still sell at RM 1750. The set is from Southall.

tomlee, have u tried your gprs with your phone?

anyone, i have a question...

I have tried to use my digi gprs with my t68i which I bought from singapore. It can't work... The people at Digi told me that it's coz my phone is from singapore so it will not work coz of software incompatibility. And I can't upgrade to Malaysian software coz according to SE Malaysia, they said that will kill my phone coz local software is made for local sets.... aren't the phones all the same?.... wat the heck??

Has anyone tried using their phone (from other countries) with GPRS hrer in malaysia?

anyone please help me! It's really depressing becaue of this....

I am using S'pore T68i in Malaysia. both Digi & Maxis works like a charm.. Dun let the Digi ppl fool you, Malaysia is such a small market. it is impossible to even have a tweak version of T68i for Malaysian only.

For Digi, in the APN, type in "Diginet"

I tried that and everything else. They say it might be my software being old. I'm still using R2B. Don't have time to go down to singapore to upgrade. Can you gimme your settings for GPRS? Then i can see if i went wrong anywhere. Thanks!

this is very irritating!

I get the msg loading but somehow the page doesn't load coz of some communication error (wat's that)

so can someone type the settings out here? Thanks!

If your SIM still cant use GPRS on your friend's T68i, do this :

GO TO A DIGI CENTER AND ASK THEM TO ACTIVATE IT ! IT IS NOT AUTOMATIC !! THEY WILL FILL IN A FORM AND TELL YOU TO WAIT FOR TWO HOURS BEFORE U CAN USE IT !! GET IT ? I WAS FRUSTRATED FOR A WHOLE DAMN MONTH, GOD KNOWS HOW MANY TIMES I HAD TO RESET MY PHONE !!!

DO AS I SAY AND U WILL BE REWARDED !!

Ps: I am shouting !!
