Just talked to a guy who claimed to have got his system to get 19000 3Dmarks in 03! He has two 2Ghz processors a X800xt AGP with 512mb DDR, for internal memory he had 768mb...
Is this even possible? He said that he had some über cooling system, only air though...
If this is possible, would someone care to share some tips on how to get your graphics card to perform even better by just changing the cooling and maybe adding, moving some fans...
Surley someone must know!

And SirSEman, how's that computer doing?

Stock air coolers on graphics cards are.. adequet.

However.. moving to a custome solution can help OC the card. I remember seeing where someone had masking tapes a Dragon Orb (thermaltake) to a TNT2 (remeber those? ) and got half life I think it was doing 400fps. Adding a hardcore cpu cooler to a graphics card though takes alot of stabilising and work in a case and isn't worth it imo, better ot look at water cooling and a GPU block.

More than likely what helped gained so many points were the dual CPU's in the system though the seems a little lowly. (Just pulkled a half gig out of my system last night due to suspected failureness :/ I don't know how people can live on 512 of ram )

If you really want to get alot out of your system, try the forums at HardOCP and other places that will have people that can give great advice on overclocking and system performance.

Wow you guys have some fab graphic cards!! I have a plain old fx5200(overclocked to get a 10% boost) and as stated earlier it sucks at dx9 games but that i already knew before buyin...just wanted somethin better than mx440 but i can still get all games runnin(played painkiller at 1024*768 with all eye candy turned on ) so graphics card aint a issue...issue is i got just 256mb 266mhz ram(ok ok you can stop laughin now ) Couldnt even play hl2 tho doom3 ran ok at 800*600 and low settings. Damn i really need an upgrade...you guys make me jealous Btw my motherboard supports only agp4x while my card is 8x...do i get some noticable performance boost gettin a agp8x slot mobo? As for my processor its p4 1.7Ghz(overclocked to 2.0Ghz) williamette core(256kb cache etc)...how much improvement if i get p4 prescott 2.4Ghz?

clank, not to disappoint u,fx5200 is the worse dx9 gfx available now. i cant imagine to get a performance boost by plugging it to a 8x agp mobo . there is not much performance boost from agp 4x to agp 8x. willamite is a real old core , if u intent to change change it with prescott, change with the new prescott 6xx series not the 5xx prescott available now .
