@meths

Indeed, but I thought I would ask anyway. As you well know I don't necessarily share your opinions, although I do agree with you to a certain extent.

Hardly worth winking imho, as I'm still fairly unimpressed with the way certain immature members behave
because generally speaking, two sentiments still seem to 'overpower' everything else in the way women are generally viewed and treated:
1. no knowledge on phones or anything tech could possibly be present
2. WOW!!! Females!! let's get names phonenumbers pictures home addresses etc etc etc. Let's bombard them with PM's let's email them, anything for some attention. WHY??

Mind you, this is definitely not the case for ALL male members here, but i do find that to this day every post like 'girls don't appreciate tech and know nothing about it' usually find themselves with a great number of supporting posts along the same lines, justifying the assumption that most members here wouldn't know what to do with a woman who has an opinion on tech and/or phones. It's either that or a way of 'being popular with the guys'.

After being here for almost 2 years, I can still be horribly disappointed on how certain members voice their (fairly limited) knowledge of the species 'woman' and the way certain (rather immature) people act when they know you're a female.
Then again it still gives me a chuckle when some of these members bite their tongues when they realise how silly they sound

But then again, the longer you are here, the more you find out.

So they may, possibly.

@vlammetje

i have nothing against females with mobile phones

@Vlamm

That's a lot of big words for such a pretty lady!

(Just joshing, please don't hit me. )

I do agree with your point, female Esatonians do seem to receive something of a mixed reception. The vast majority of male Esatonians, being the vast majority of Esatonians, do, however, treat the women here with respect.

@davo

You are relatively new to Esato; how do you feel that you have integrated into the community here?

@scots
ummm..
im not really sure aye,
i ask a question and 8 out 10 times i get a legitimate answer.
i get along pretty well with most members (or at least i hope i do) and i havent had any bad experiences on here yet.
so i supposed i have integrated pretty well.
