**Breaking News**
I just searched the net, and unless this picture is cleverly doctored, or this heap of metal just planted at the site, it aparently shows a bit of the wreckage....

So we reach a compromise slattery...I was right about the impact needing to leave some wreckage, and you were right about there definitely being an impact ( all subject to this image being real ,of course).

It is entirely possible that the plane was vaporised on impact, although usually when you see footage of plance crashes you usually see the tailplane or something, and usually they find something poignant like a partly-charred doll or passport or something, you always get that in news footage of plane crashes!
But then again, untill 9/11, most if not all plane crashes were accidental, so the pilots weren't actively trying to fly into a building, in fact fly away from them, most crash footage you see is somewhere relatively unpopulated like countryside, or a hillside, or the sea. Another question - did they get the black box flight recorder? These things are usually extremely sturdy. If they have got it, then it's pretty plain a plane (oops, sorry, no pun there!) went into the building, and also I'm sure there were eyewitnesses to this both in the Pentagon building and on the ground?

Call me a cynic, but the Bush Govt has not covered itself in praise for their lieing to the UN about WMDs in Iraq and their handling of the Khan issue( the Pakistani nuclear proliferator who has been let free by the US just because they want to exert influence over Iran)...Unable to find a single WMD in Iraq, the US just a few days ago officially halted all search operations.

i d like to think that while neonw and myself dont have the same opinions we can have a decent rational discussion with each other and not resort to name calling. which in my opinion we did have a good discussion and i enjoyed it, meeting different people with diff opinions is
@neonw ive seen that pic before but thanks for posting the link its one of the pics that a lot of the consipsrey theorists say is a plant piece of a plane. i guess we will still never know if it was or it wasnt and will have to draw our own conclusions from it

i totatly agree with you on this however it the killing of your own people i cant see them doing in such great numbers. i have no doubt that the us could kill hundreds/thousands of forgein people that stood in its way under the banner of war.
i think the wmd was just a poly to get into iraq, and again this brings me back to 9/11 why did they need to do 9/11 when they can make up stuff about wmd in countries and just go strolling in all guns blazing and do as they please. they did nt need 9/11 to go to iraq or any where else they just roll out excuses like wmd nuclear thrreat etc

True btw, there's no realistic reason why the US would carry out those attacks on themselves when you could make something up like the WMD rubbish. I wonder what they'll come up with for Iran, if indeed that's the US's next target?
I personally would like to see another country whose leaders ride roughshod over human rights taken care of next, like North Korea, Zimbabwe, Equitorial Guinea, Sudan etc. It will also diliute the theory some people have in that this is a war aginst Islam, which I don't believe it is, or at least damn well hope it isn't!
Anyway, I'm going off topic here, sorry!

i agree i would like to see some of the countries mentioned brought to task for there appaulling human rights records though i fear because of a lack of oil they may be way down the us list. though i believe they should be top of the list
