Can someone please tell me why WHY ppl keep bragging about stupid DIGITAL zoom??? It´s utter sh...!!! If they wanted they could put a 1000x digital zoom, but there was no point in it...as there isn´t in 20x or even 4x - it deteriorates the image for gods sake!!
Well, it´s typical nokia fanboy argumentation...

show me also a Nokia with 10x digital zoom... me? i could live even with 2x optical zoom on an SE. digital zooms are rubbish, they don't need to zoom more than 4x, images that result get somewhat distorted.

well i might as well add my 2 cents.
as mib1800 was comparing the 7610 to the p910 and calling the p series bricks even though the biggest difference is the hight of about 6 mm as ive read im not to sure in what you have said is correct, or some reviews maybe be wrong. as that must seem se has gone from "good size" to "good size" note we already started off at teh good size
and as said before what has the 7610 have over the p910 besides the camera???
neways if you dont mind i might have my go at the comunicator series as now i cant resist
... i recon they are so bricky and long that you could probly give one to your wife one day as she could use it as a dil d o
actually now that i think of it, im pretty sure ive seen that some were
(no wonder they have such high market share
)
oh well i guess its the best object for the job

first it was sony and ericsson separate.they both were washed out of market by nokia.now they joined hands still cannot touch nokia.i would suggest sony to quit mobile business and stik to walkman and handycams.they r king of that field not mobiles.

When I went from a Nokia 6610 to an SE T610 2 years ago, I was well impressed and vowed never to touch a nokia again. SE are far better quality and easier to use, with better looking menu's and features.

Yes, the P-Series is big. It has a stylus-based interface (the method historically used by the world's serious PDA users, incidentally) and therefore requires a big screen, so that business people can see it when they are working. The real Nokia competitor for the P910i, is not actually the 7610 but the Communicators 9300 and 9500 - I think you will agree that they are not exactly miniature, BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE!
But anyway, as I also said, this has previously been discussed, ironically mainly by yourself and a few others, several times over, so moving on...

I think it suffices to say that the thread being entitled nokia vs sonyericsson is attempting to guage which of the two is
better, for want of a more detailed breakdown of criteria.
Now, as to duplication of models, let's be honest. You haven't "lost track" of all the innumerable combinations of
handsets, you've named all the examples you could think of - and to some extent you have a point. However, I think that you will find that comparing the level of this duplication (Nokia going back as far as the 3210/3310/3410/3510/3510i - five models, not bad!) is a moot point, as Nokia have made this something of a production policy, whilst many of your
examples have not even been released yet! So, how much can they have already been doing it???!!!
And lastly, this thread is not interesting to those people who have read it before, which if you search before posting (the OP, not you) should be everybody. The only satisfaction I get from reading this thread is from laughing at the likes of jafggl, whose garbage posts should probably be moved there - but I suppose that retarded Nokia fanboys are welcome on an
forum but
ones are not?
The real point is that if you are so keen on arguing that you post anti-:se: sentiment, repeatedly, all over an
forum, you have something missing in your life. I hope you find it.

In Denmark the most popular show on television was a stupid quiz show. It was lame entertainment for the "people" where you could enjoy watching the contestants’ faces when they either won or lost a lot of money. It was an insult for intelligent people but still the most popular show.....I would like to make that analogy with the mobile phone market.

Why not compare television shows and phones? Both are products for the masses, and the masses aren’t very bright. But then again we can compare the phone market to the desktop computing market. Dell is the biggest PC manufacturer in the world - They don't make the best computers, and sure aren't the cheapest. A company like Alienware makes far more powerful machines and better computers by Dell is still the biggest player.
