The Pivot Silicone Case really is great for my k750i, not only does it have OAD but also with its soft material, you cant hardly feel the case. It seems that your still holding your cellphone unlike other cases wherein you could feel the plastic. Not only that, if you hold it, you're sure its not going to fall off your grip.

The case has a protuding parts for the main buttons and the areas which are important like the charging port, camera, ear piece has already been cut precisely for easier access.

I must say that this is the first time i really appreciate a silicone case because before i never really wanted that on my cellphone because the design and quality of the cases does not appeal to me but having the Pivot Silicone Case changed all my perception about silicone
cases. Buying this product would surely satisfy your need, not only to protect your cellphone from dust and minor scratches but also you wouldnt feel that you just wasted your money for another accessory.

Review

K750i OAD Silicone Case from Pivot
Manufactured by Mobile Link Technology Ltd.

I am one of the lucky individuals who was fortunate enough to avail of an offer made by Pivot at the Esato forum (http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=96434)

After almost a month of waiting (not due to Pivot) for it to arrive, it finally came to me today.

After opening the package, it is pretty obvious that it was abused during shipping. The pictures clearly show the crumpled box and packaging.

However, it did survive. ļ

The Packaging

The packaging is sturdy enough to let the Silicone Case tucked inside survive such abuse. The bottom carton describes the features of the product and explains what OAD is all about. Inside, you will find a brochure of other Pivot products, but I suppose their website is much more current in that area.

The OAD Silicone Case

In the following picture, you will see the silicone case itself, and do note that the outline for the keypad, the HOME and C keys are visible. In addition, if you check the sides, you will notice the same outline for the camera shutter button, volume button and music pause/play button. These outlines make it easier to press the keys/buttons when in actual use.

The case does not provide a screen protector, so if you¡¦re looking for one, it is not included. On my unit, I¡¦m using a Japanese made screen protector that works perfectly well with the Pivot silicone case.

The cutouts on the vital parts such as the memory stick cover, the joystick, the screen, the earpiece, the camera cover, the cable connector and hand strap are cut to millimeter accuracy.

The quality and workmanship of the silicone case is top notch.

Fitting It In

I thought putting the phone inside the case will be a challenge. But due to the elastic nature of the silicone case, it was extremely easy.

The entry point is the camera cover opening and the phone is inserted as shown in the picture.

Here it is viewed from the front.

And here it is viewed from the back.

Once the phone is inside the silicone case, I did not have to make further adjustments as the case perfectly hugs the phone and adjust itself into place.

The following picture shows how it fits from the back view.

Here it is viewed from the front.

Protection and Comfort

With the Pivot silicone case PLUS a decent screen protector, the K750i will have sufficient protection from minor bumps and scratches.

The silicone case will not give you the feel of a hard or solid phone, but instead gives a feel of softness with solid grip.

The keyboard and buttons outline makes using the keys and buttons convenient, even when the phone is inside my pants pocket.

Overall Rating

I give this product a five star for quality, material, protection and convenience. Anybody looking for a similar solution should give the Pivot K750i silicone case a serious consideration.

Kat, would it be possible to post pictures of what the phones look like in each color case? It is too hard for me to imagine what the phone will look like in the white case, the yellow case, etc. Pictures of each combination would be helpful (for k750i, and also w800i when it is released).

For example, these are what the k750i looks like in the blue cases (thanks arnoldc). It would be helpful to get a front and back picture of the phone inside each different color case.

Thank you
