If I'm not mistaken Sandisk is a co-designer of newer MS media (Pro, Pro-Duo and M2) and cheaper. If it's low quality then why is SE bundling Sandisk branded cards in their phones?

Sandisk manufacture the cards for Sony, so there is no difference between the two other than the branding on the casing!

This comparison is flawed. It involves Sandisk Gaming memory cards, not the everyday Sandisk cards. Normal Sandisk cards are about as fast as the Sony normal speed cards and usually a bit cheaper but not always and not by much.

Sandisk Gaming line are way more expensive than the normal speed Sandisk or sony cards.

The only thing that is clear from this comparision, is that the Sony Hi-Speed cards are only marginally faster than normal cards, but no where near as fast as the Sandisk Gaming cards.

i assume thats the gaming one you refered to i brought 2 of them back in 2006 for my k750i i paid £50 each from woolworths, at the time that was cheap the sony one's were at least £60, there good cards aswell i used them both in my k750i then sold one to my mate who still uses it now in his w850 the card still works as good as new and it's been used for 3 years. now i have a sandisk 1gb M2 in my k800i again it's a very good fast card, i am getting a 4gb M2 soon don't know if it's sony or sandisk though.

Okay that's good to know. Australian retailers often play silly games with pricing - I've seen them here quite a bit more expensive.

I have 2 X 2GB cards for my PSP. ! Sandisk and 1 Sony. Sony DEFINATELY loads and saves ISOs/CSOs/BINs faster than Sandisk. I mean there are literally 4-5 seconds difference loading Street Fighter Alpha 3 and thats only 350MB!

Why didnt I read this before. Crap.

Anyway, I just bought the 2gig m2 for my k800 and file transfer sucks. I've tried it with the phone connected to the USB. If i plug the m2 into a card reader will it help?
