Someone please direct me as to where I am going wrong.

I have downloaded FAR manager from

http://plugring.farmanager.com/history/files/far170b5.exe

and the update from

http://farmanager.com/files/Far171a1b2104.rar

Now I install the first download of FAR and it seems to works fine, the update download seems to be a file with various updated files. I am guessing that I simply browse to the FAR folder in the C drive and replace these files in the program with the updates ones?

Now I download the Plug in. Firstly I an not sure which one to go for, there seems to be many, so I chose the following one

SEFP010251.rar.zip ( 713.19k ) Number of downloads: 11501

as it seemed to be the most popular by a long way.

Now I am assuming that to install the plug in I need to extract the rar file and them place the folder in the C:\\Program Files\\Far\\Plugins folder.

when I do this and then start the FAR manager, press F11 and then scrol down to SEFP and hit enter I get an error as follows

Plugin call error
Exception occured: Exception address: 0x7C81EB33 in module:
C:/...am Files\\Far\\Plugins\\SEFP\\sefp.dll

The plug in will be unloaded

What am I doing wrong, this is driving me insane, and I seem to be following the correct instructions

regards

David

Ok heres where i've got too.

Installed original FARmanager. Downloaded FAR Manager update. Used extractor to extract to FAR manager folder.

All seems to work fine.

Now i Have downloaded the V0.9 of the plug in, and I have extracted it to the /FAR/plugin folder, but when I start the FAR manager and it F11 and scroll to the SEFP option and hit return I still get the same error message and it unloads the plugin.

I must be doing some thing basic here, whats the script anyone?

regards

David

Hi, can anyone help me with a k300? I conect with a cable, then open FAR manager. Choose phone, then it asks to press power button shortly. How long? Does it have to turn off the phone? Then a progress bar fills up at the bottom saying 'waiting answer from phone'. So it fills up and then the window closes. Help please. The FAR version says 1.70. Where can i get the latest? I downloaded FAR a week ago from its main page. If anyone can help me I'd be really gratefull. This message was posted from a WAP device

Did you delete the SEFP folder completely before copying in the new one?
