Had w880i since May on 02 from 02 shop and Track ID works fine .
My son has one on 02 his Track ID didn't work both phones had same firmware, was told by 02 it's because he got phone from Phones4u.
Persisted with complaining to Sony and they sent him a new handset with
no branding at all and Track ID works fine.

Has anyone noticed that the Demo tour for the W880 has the Walkman player version 1, rather than the version 2 which is what it has, watch it and you'll know what I mean.

All works, but I cannot change my homepage, it seems silly because I can on my W810.

I like it the way itt is. On the unbranded version when you go to the internet the homepage is on the phone so it doesnt waste any data (and money) loading a page that you might not want. You cabn set set a homepage for the internet button on the keypad.

No you can't. Or I'm too stupid (after 6 SE Phones) to change the setting. Where should that be? Please try.
On my old K610 it was no problem at all, changing the homepage in the internet profiles. Then the button opened the new homepage and the "internet" icon in the main menu still opened the search page on the phone.
But this setting has no effect on the W880
.

OK, Ive just found a BUG? or two in the firmware of my W880i when I goto view on the camera, I can choose the 5x5 grid, and then if I goto Camera album and click more, then sort by file type, then view the pics in the album it shows them as a 5x5 grid, as landscape, and yet in the bottom corner when I select a picture it still has landscape option, which if I click makes no difference. Anyone else found this?
Also before this, I couldnt have fullscreen wallpapers, even tho I clicked maximum, and yet now it works... Strange???
