Some more displeasing info for Doministry ...

Source

* Fixed Screen size
* Will show best results on OLED screens
* Hardware manufactures will develop the phone in accordance with the specs provided by
* Microsoft, otherwise the door is open for them
* A Zune HD like UI with a few phone-specific controls
* A Usual processor, not a speedy one
* Capacitive multi-touch screen
* Lacks background processing
* To use Apple like notification service
* Built on top of Silvelight and .NET (as we stated previously)
* No multi-tasking
* No access to system resource
* No Process threading
* Lacks visual voicemail
* Won’t run Windows Mobile 6.x apps

Actually this part is incomplete and not true in some cases.
Indeed probably WM 6.x apps will run on WM 7 with just UI enhancements.

As for "no multitasking" is also not true.
Regarding a processor, it's a joke since WM 7 has a very strong
hardware required for it to work.

So thanks I also stay connected to all WM related news

..but it doesn't (multi-task), seen the videos? It just stays on the last view of the executed app/feature and there is no task switcher, unless they change that on the final guise..

with WM7 having xbox integration.... could this be product tht have playstation3 integration or access like Aino won't be /wm7? it might be just too much for a phone to be able to get so much....xbox and playstation3 sync...but now i am interested to see what Nintendo planned... all this smartphone / mid is getting powerful processor tht can put up fine graphics....their portable business seem at risk.

SE isn't learning. While their new devices might seem ok, they are far from great.
And by the time they get out they'll be outdated.
Android 1.6 is outdated, Symbian series60 is lame, their UIQ version was much better.
Still using TFT screens, cams not really moving with the flow appart from HD cam.
Batterylife not going the right direction.

I gues i'll stick to my P1 and Paris for another year.

SE are learning. They don't need to have phones that are with the best possible features, they just need phones with good specs on right price levels in order to sell them and to generate profit. Yea, some of the fanboys and geeks maybe will be not so happy from the specs but they are only a small part of the market. Usually the normal users don't really care with is the version of the OS in their phones, they just want them to work as they want.
