Does anyone have information regarding how well each of Sony's smartphones are selling? Z3 seems to be doing exceptionally well. Considering how incompetent Sony's lower-end offerings are, I wouldn't be surprised if 5+ millions of the handsets sold in CY Q4 were Z3 family. Is the original Z still the best-selling Sony smartphone. How many Xperia Z units have been sold?
P.S. I hope Sony doesn't mess up the Lollipop update. I own M8 and I can say the Lollipop on M8 sucks very bad. I wish Sony doesn't use the 3D app drawer or the expandable notification bar because they make you very slow when operating the phone. More touches are needed to navigate.

Does anyone else think that the Z4 is being pushed back by a month or two to ensure it launches with Lollipop?
Unlike previous flagships which get the latest and greatest "shortly after release".
I'm really hoping for a solid overhaul of the UI. I have Lollipop on my old Nexus 7 and I have to say it is quite nice and much more mature than previous versions. Almost makes me want to look at Nexus 6 or a GPE of something or other.

I suspect Sony may launch the Z4 after MWC, seems to be a trend and something sonyalpharumours has mentioned in regards to new launches in the camera division, launch major new products outside of shows, like the new A7 II. So I feel this might be the case with the Z4 and Z4 tablet. It makes sense if no press conference is planned for MWC. I doubt Sony would introduce a major flagship with no press conference.

And who thinks that at MWC we'll see Sony's new UI concept that will be carried out along with Lollipop?
I think they'll show us their new UI along with some revamped services like playstation music that is powered by Spotify and at a later date they'll show us Z4 family that will not only show us full power of new UI but will be the newest evolution of Z line - perfected design with perfected software (in theory).

Pushed back so that it can launch with Lollipop? That's stupid.

The only sensible reason to delay is the 810 chip.

hands on by different sites shows that 810 in fact runs cooler than 801 and a comparison with leaked S6 benchmarks show that 810 tops exynos overall.also please remember article i posted a few pages ago showed that 20nm exynos uses more power that krait on 28nm so i would like to see how 14nm will turn out with samsungs poor optimizations
benchmark:note that exynos one is leaked and final version maybe better or worse
