@ theunknown04, they should have sorted out the GPRS issue not sure about the video/camera problems other people have been reporting. Problem is you can only flash to R1L via da vinci right now.

not sounding silly but new to this thats why i never done the first firmware update but what is the via da vinci ??thank's

No problem. Da Vinci is a program to perform remote unlocking and flashing for SE phones. Check out their homepage http://www.davinciteam.com

Also if you check out their latest news (posted by flanonthenet earlier) you see the mention of the R1L002 firmware.

is it just as safe to use that as it is with the SE site??will it be long before it come's onto the SE site if it's on that already??i would have thought that it would have been on the main SE site first??is it easier on this site then the SE site to update the phone?sorry for all the question's..

I've never used Da Vinci b/c I always buy my phones already unlocked and this is the first phone (k750) I've flashed the firmware on myself. Plus Da Vinci isn't free. Lots of other people have used it though.

well I thought I might have a play and try davinci since I've not tried any of these since the days of terminator dongles

its all gone through fine and I have R1L002 but a couple of things to note

my CDA has changed although I still have EUROPE_3 with the same languages and also all contents of the phone were wiped which doesn't happen with SEUS

busy synching at the mo so will start taking a look at any changes I can spot later

could you do a favour and check the picture's and the video frame rate as the new firmware that come out the other week seemed to have worse recording and camera for some strange reason...will this new firmware be avalible on the SE site soon??i thought they would have it first?busy synching how does that work and what does it do?tranfer thing's from pc?

camera software is still version 4.4
therefore I doubt theres any changes in the camera department
this firmware propably only deals with the gprs problem.
