A bit puzzled to see this phone, but it seems like a more complete package than the Z if only for the removable battery that many people wanted. The appearance has taken a hit to accomodate that tho, it seems. Also, looks like the port flaps are a bit different... I wonder if they're better or worse. Plus of course it's got the camera shutter. If it has the IR blaster like the ZL, it'd truely be a complete package.
Either way, it'll be interesting to see where Sony positions this phone in their lineup and what improvements they've been able to make.

I don't think that is the same as an IR blaster. Its position makes no sense if it is meant to be aremote control feature.

So this is Gaga? Japan only version of DOGO? Kinda makes sense for japan, I mean isnt removable battery a big thing in japan? So maybe this is aimed at those who rejected the Z because of the fixed battery?
But i dont think it makes sense for the rest of the world. Are the dimensions now rumord true, same size as Z? Is it just me but dosent this look alot thicker than Z?
I dont really care about thickness, my concerne is length. Around 130 mm at most.
