my desktop has winxp pro.p4.,40gb,504mb ram(upgraded yesterday from a 256mb ram)...and dont know what vram is .
my laptop has win xp pro.centrino,55gb with 512 mb ram and the card is radeon mobility 9200
what is a key? where is it?how do i remove it?

if u r not aware of registry key then i wont advice u to delete it. But let me explain, every component has a key registered to the os, sothat ur os can recognise it. go to run in start menu, type 'regedit', press enter. a pop-up will open. from the Edit, go to find, then search for the name of the game u r installing. then delete all the findings for that name. but BE CAREFUL, if u delete the key of some other s/w, remember u r deleting the link between the os & the s/w. so that s/w wont run. so if u feel confident u go for this.

a crack is a file which usually replaces the main .exe file of the game so that it doesnt try to detect the game CD thus enabling you to play the game without the CD. it ought to be there somewhere on one of the "dicks" search and see.
Patch modifies certain files to apply the same effect as a crack

if the leftside folder name is the game name delete the whole folder, find next, search all the entry & delete. but before that first try to uninstall that game. otherwise u can't uninstall the game.
