@Cooapostle: You are right on that; I will certainly play with it a little for the first week or two; maybe even call Abubakar to see what he really looks like.
@Angelgirl: I love your blank posts!

@Area: I doubt if any phone meets those criteria but take away the 5mp camera requirement and the E90 stands out. We already know that the E90 is the next natural choice for you.
Don't disappoint us O!

I did not quote you out of context. Don't cry wolf over the fact that you did not express yourself clearly. Saying that a long SMS is usually sent by MMS sounds like the network (not you) sends a concatenated SMS via MMS. Which is bollocks. Your rephrase is much clearer, thank you.
Still on MMS, I wonder what you do if the other fellow does not have an MMS phone, for example?
Anyway, in my case, the only person I send a lot of text messages to (say 5-20 per day), between us we use Cellity, a java app that sends messages via GPRS. A 2048-character message, for example, via Celtel GPRS costs me only - let's see - 20 kobo. A 160-character message costs way less than 2 kobo via Cellity.
Make fun of prudence all you want. How I use my phone is my business. I'm wondering why that gets you uptight. Like I did with MMS, I'll play with the video calls thing a while. Mobility is my line of work, so I need to have at least used it to have some first hand knowledge. But don't hold your breath about me using it for my regular communications.
I am not your average mindless Nigerian. Now, if you have something else more important to do besides mocking (and a poor attempt at that too)someone else's phone usage preferences, please get on with it.
@all: Is that Nokia-SE war still on? My Shawarma's all frozen stiff now!

@Amby ... Can we honestly compare the versatility of Nokia to SE? You mentioned those java apps you use on your W810i to achieve daily stuff, well my N71 is java capable plus s60 3rd ed apps. There is this apps that i like so much, the name is Interactive voice call master. I don't know if it is available for UIQ's i would have asked you to try it on your M600i.

@brym & All, That question i asked u was actual a trick question, to show all that when it comes to packaging Nobody comes near to Nokia and Unfortunately that's what most consumer look at for b4 or when buying their fones.
The finished product (i.e packaging) is what makes Nokia a world leader in handset, assuming in a social gathering, i introduce a N93 (multi swivel head) and a better fone SE P990, more people will respect the N93 over the P990 (execpt guys like us who knows what's in the P990) and this is what makes Nokia Stand out, also with larger consumer base equals easier free software which is an added advantage for good fone users, just imagine a software company designing a soft ware and he doesn't consider Microsoft Windows Operating system, your guess is as good as mine where the software is heading.
My Lord (Angel girl) Without mixing words, this is where i rest my case in the SE and Others fones vs Nokia fones.
over to you.

Who's keeping the score? Brym, how far? What's the scoreboard looking like at this point? I'm tempted, but I won't jump in because I'd throw in points for and against both sides of the argument. Not good for a brand war.

You still haven't told us what this application does and how it increases ur productivity.
@areafada: don't disappoint me. thats a very weak attempt at selling ur brand to me. do u know how much ur e90 costs? don't u realise that pricing is what makes se so appealing? u need 2 see the reaction I get whenever I whip out my sleek white m600i, and it only cost me N30k
