Curved plastic back with removable battery vs flat glass back with sealed battery. Camera and LED flash are in different positions. Anyway, you're idea of cheap-looking, is hilarious, given that Sony Ericsson, used largely the same cheap plastic that Sony use nowadays. Isn't that funny? Thing is though, SE didn't use a high quality glass backing did they? Haha.
Even with the more consistant design language, the Xperia devices look markedly different. There is a clear difference in appearance, you just don't want to see it. So stop wasting yours and our time with these silly, meaningless posts.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and your eye doesn't want to behold any beauty, simply because it says "Sony", instead of "Sony Ericsson".

The glossiness of SE's plastic made it much more premium looking ( like Z's glass compared to A'ss rubberize plastic ).

Debatable. Rubberised plastic, always felt nicer to me in the hand. And glossy plastic with fake chrome just looked tacky to me. Rubberised plastic is why the Xperia Ray was the best looking 2011 Xperia, at least to me.

So a SAMSUNG fan claims the lineup of another brand looking too similar and being hard to differentiate and using cheap plastic?
Etaab and Mediar are still battling it out for the troll of the year...
Anyway, on topic, I think Sony should do their own event for the flagship and before IFA for the greatest impact. Processors make us go wow, phones in a fishbowl wins over everyone else. Last year they crammed in so many features in such a short space of time, they should go slightly more in depth for the key features, and with so many amazing features, they need their own event.

You may have a very soft temperament, but the majority of humans won't make a big deal out of such a small 'insult'. And if someone can't see such significant differences, then maybe it is due to requiring new glasses.

Sorry, the glasses have glass, which apparently feels cheap, and they also probably won't have the Sony Ericsson logo, so I strongly doubt Mediar will use them.
