I am using a different memory card too so its not that. I also notice in my x10 the camera lens looks off centre. Oh god I am sick of this having issues all the time. But I am starting to not give a stuff about mobile phone cameras anymore they never deliver the quality of my real camera. Cannot be arsed to go swap it cos the store would think I was insane

@bonovox - finger smudge? I was trying to take pictures in regular and scene modes and kept getting blurry pictures when I autofocused. I put it into document mode and pictures are really sharp and crisp now. Strange but it worked.

@ Bonovox:
Did you drop it?
Maybe the lens is a bit broken/out of alignment

Thanks mate that is so strange I just put it in document mode & the left blurry side has gone

How is that?? It is for macro but does distant shots fine. The same thing happened to me when I had Samsung Jet

auto focus is a lot faster and much more sharp and crisp too. maybe it's a bug of some kind.

Yeah when I had Samsung Jet pics were blurry in auto but sharp in document mode even at distance. Very odd but if it works who cares

Unlikely but it could be a lens defect, I had one of those blurry spots on my K750 and it turned out to a lens problem. SE dutifully fixed it.

I've had lens problems before too. K850 had a chip on the lens gave a funny figure of 8 pattern where any direct light came in. SE fixed it quickly when I told them.
