The W610i or the upcoming S500i and W580i are relatively slim and light and they do have Edge:

EDGE phones NEVER are 3G - for that UMTS or WDCMA would be needed. EDGE is so-called 2.5g. Take the K790: thats the same as the K800 except, that it doesn't have UMTS, but EDGE instead.
So if you want to have a so called 3G phone then it must be UMTS. If that's not available in your country, then that would be of no use. So then chose EDGE instead. That's not as fast as UMTS for internet, but much faster than standard GPRS.
But let's stay with the W880 discussion topic: It's a wonderful phone, slim, light and with fast internet access. I can recommend it.

This concept of 3G vs EDGE is slowly going in the ranks of
phones = K850i & z760 upcoming as BOTH will have EDGE & Tri-Band 3G
This may have been asked before, but how is SMS on the W880i's keypad versus say the K790/800 or W810?

Im using R1JC002, but directly as you go into file manager, and just have Camera album selected, not in it, and then push more, it comes up with Sort by, and then you can choose between 4 options. If you choose 'file type' then mine shows a 5x5 grid, as it does if im in the camera and push view.
