Interesting opinion there. Since being hooked to smartphones since '04.. I've always been kinda fascinated by the "other kind". What i mean by the other kind is the cellphone buff, but the non smartphone version! I'm interested to know about the usage pattern.. I mean the main reason i stick to smartphones is the ability to multitask and added expandabilty with apps.. Although the non smartphones too have come to an acceptable level of multitasking abilities.. Still they leave me gasping for more! . So what i presume is the "other kind" is not that keen on multitasking?

Well, non smartphones are good at multitasking these days... My previous phone was K800 (flashed with K810 firmware)... So was doing the folowing multitasking every day:

- Opera mini - browsing the internet (esato )
- Mig33 - some good conversation with friends
- KDplayer - listening to some good music

at the same time the phone was working fast and smooth through the menus and etc... Making call or texting was not a problem during all these activities... So I think that's good for a non-smartphone

Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g ..... spec taken from gsmarena

http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_ericsson_c905-2427.php

gsmarena has some typographical errors or un-updated specs sometimes.
nokia e51 is listed to have 802.11 b/g wifi in gsmarena when in fact it only supports 802.11g (as stated in the nokia website)

what does the whitepaper say about c905's wifi?

from the whitepaper itself?
in that case, c905 has it all covered in connectivity

So is it CCD or CMOS, no one seem to know??

I think it is more likely CMOS than CCD.

I still don't understand why se would put a tv out for qvga?

They did not put it there for the QVGA. It's supposed to be used for watching still images in VGA format on your TV (think that was pointed out during the C905 presentation).

720x480 video recording at 30fps :|. Sony needs to step they game up on that QVGA recording. And they need to up the resolution to VGA at least.
