@gedas5

It is hard to compare those two photo's, as one has a bright sky causing the bottom of the photo te get darker, this is normal, but you should left the sky out on both photos.

I had a quick look at the pictures last night and they seem ok. Just a little amount of noise in them which is normal.

it's always good to make sure you set the phone's camera up properly so you get the best picture possible.

I've just read the useful tips, how to capture somthing to get the picture you expect. I used a K750 and K850, and I know how to handle a camera. I can tell you just that something isn't well optimised with focusing, and it's not working well in my phone. (In some situations K850 focuses immediately while with C901 I try 10 times and it focuses precise just once -incidetally, in the same situation.)
I think it could be software related (because -as I've already wrote- with the sports mode, or macro mode at closer distance it works better).
As I remember with R1EA033 haven't has this problem (but I didn't really used this phone at that time), however the camera driver is the same.
So in my opinion Gedas, Junz, Goosecat and Scorpnake (pg. 52) are facing this problem too, not their photographer capabilities cause blurry pictures.
I'm waiting a software update, which probably fixes this problem.

well...with every day i'm falling more and more in love with c901 which is really good after the disappointment when took first pictures now it's a relief that nothing is wrong...and i see that not only me that has the problem with focusing...sometimes it focuses really well and sometimes slightly out of focus...but hopefully SE will update this wonderful camera phone
and here...practice makes perfect...

by the way...realised that if you choose Best pic option then the pictures are always sharp and well focused

EDIT: changed my mind about BestPic...not always give the best results..

BUT...photos look even better after processing them with some software

BTW the one with that toy was only sharpened..thus i wish that Code will be able to improve the level of sharpness as you see great results could be achieved
