Sony Ericsson, PSP and Sony Tie-Up on the Way.
He said: 'In the past, there was no tie-up between us, the PSP platform and Sony, but you can expect to hear much more about that. Sir Howard Stringer's [chairman and CEO of Sony] presence here is no coincidence.
'We are focusing on the home environment. The TV, PC, stereo and mobile will have a common communications interface DLNA (digital living network alliance). I want to put my big foot in the home alongside Sony.

Looks like Microsoft is open to Playstation integration in Windows Phone 7 Series.

Should open the door for a SE handset with some PS3 integration.

hope this also will mean that se will incorporate the real qualities and features of their "walkman player", "cybershot camera" and "handycam camcorder" into their phones, and it's good to know that they already started by introducing the remote play function for ps3 in aino...

Why would SE even consider adding PlayStation (games) to Windows Mobile? I can perhaps onlysee them adding PSN support for movies, digital comics and music and such, but no games. I think Sony (SCE) will only allow PlayStation gaming on their own platforms, on an own OS, especially considering security of purchases and stability of games. When they want the system to be secure and stable, they will have to control both hardware and software. Hell, even Apple can't with their IPhones being hacked while their hardware and software is closed as well.
A PSPhone will be inevitable though, but for gaming they will develop a closed OS. I'm sure about that.

heavily striped down android phones, many buyers will be disappointed, even if they don't want the latest version of the os, comparing it with other phones will make you feel sad.
They general idea of their new phones is quite good, but its a half finish product, they should stop hiring people who got their diploma with the minimum amount of points, or that don't know anything about the telecoms on the field.
And why no new acc? Ericsson used to launch lots of nice acc that gave a surtain addon to your phone.

is there any music-feature phone in the pipeline?
I love X10 and X10 mini and Vivaz, however, they don't have clear bass/stereo and equaliser

+1
All this awesome audio technology that doesn't even make a feature on Sony Ericsson smartphones.
I'm personally hoping for an Aino II or something to continue the great work done on the original Aino (in terms of sound quality)

SE are learning. They don't need to have phones that are with the best possible features, they just need phones with good specs on right price levels in order to sell them and to generate profit. Yea, some of the fanboys and geeks maybe will be not so happy from the specs but they are only a small part of the market. Usually the normal users don't really care with is the version of the OS in their phones, they just want them to work as they want.
They are creating rubbish carbon copies of the Iphone. SE have gone the wrong way there build quality and software issues have gone down.
Plus the satio is a terrible phone and it's supposed to be a high end one.
