Its language only difference. The keys also have chinese characters on them instead of english. So I guess some chinese users would prefer to see their native language on the keys themselves, I can't blame them really. I am using T68 with english OS and so I like to use it with english keys, and if it was reveresed I would want chinese keys. So thats the difference.

mc is a gray market phone unit and is not supported here locally... thats why its so much better to buy a t68m and have it upgraded or buy T68i...

mc is for the chinese market... lesson over... class dismissed

Just upgraded to R5D from R2E (It's a T68m).
Well, there's no speed improvement over the previous version, at least there's no "noticeable" speed improvement. Besides the color WAP navigation I didn't notice any other new feature.
I will verify if there is really one more timeslot for GPRS.
It seems (but i said seems) to me there is a small improvement in the field indicator & GPRS coverage indicator, they seem a bit more repsonsive when changinge from well to bad covered zones.
Also it seems to me that the phone now locks GPRS signal correctly, with the previous fw version often I had to turn the phone off and back on to lock the GPRS signal if I stood much time in a zone where GPRS was not covered.
