I agree with you @slugworth. I think contributors to this topic should just work together and help askd come up with the best hybrid for the k750/w800 and not confuse most by releasing different versions with almost the same quality.

... I must say though that the contributions are good, but still we need the best available

... Im still on 10.1 and just waiting for the next hybrid.

Oh right, thanks for the explaining that to me, i have to admit i just try out wot eva the newest drivers are. But still for picture quality its either 10.01 or 2.71. So lets start telling askd wot he needs to do to make the best camera driver there is.

harv no the idea is also to assist him in debugging drivers, learning more about the HEX code on the driver (parts he himself doesnt know about) and explore them hes not getting paid for this remember i think askd should show his paypal addy n people can donate to him for all his time and effort spent in creating these wounderful items (this inclds the Hiss reduction driver and loundless etc)

i haven't just modifed a few values. Just look for example at the night mode part property 7 where i've added a few lines. This is my mood. If you don't like it i'll star a new topic.

I can't make it record mp4. this kind of features are firmware related
I've tried to increse the digital zoom. i've succeded but the pictures lat 16x zoom or even 8x look really bad.
I'm sorry that sometimes i don't reply to all of you questions. I'll try to detail more what i am doing.
I know that night mode is a little slow i've tried to make it faster but if i make it faster the night mode pictures look a lot darker and with a lot of noise.

I am not starting a race on who can make the best driver but i'm trying to modify my cam driver and i also share with you guys my improved version.
I also want for people to test my cam version and tell me what they think because i can't test it in all situations (dark mode,normal mode,light) i don't have the time.

If my posts have bottered anyone i appologise. All you have to do is to say so and i'll start a new topic with my cam version. I just said to myself if there already is a topic related to camera modding why should i start another one?

P.S. : i've stared tweeking the cam driver long before asked relased 2.71 version with notes. Just go back to page 3 for instance.

My 9.89 cam driver saves pics at 92% because if i use 93% or more r1ca021 crashes in some conditions(low light or a lot of detail)

Well i don't know how to try out different values because i haven't got the time to be editing the camera drivers and telling people wot should different, like i can only tell people basic things what are wrong with the driver.
ady_k4e could you post some of the pictures using 16x and 8x zoom. But i remember zooming in to something 4x with the zoom and i put it on my computer and the quality was terrible.

i'll post them tomorow (pictures with 8x and 16x zoom). At 4x the quality si a little better that the original driver(5.3 from sony) but they still are terible.

Ok thanks, i actually have a w800 but i have the k750 housing so that is y i have the k750 phone as my picture, so i only have 4.5 camera driver from sony.

well well well.. so there's two person are capable on modding the camdriver and make it the best it could.. ady_k4e & aksd so.. let this two guys make their own stuff and we ( including me ) hoping to get a better camdriver and test it ourself.. do make sure you spotted the different before you post comparisson.. and do post what was the different between the two picture posted.. just make it very simple.. or just create a new topic which include all the Camdriver ( no matter from anyone of you ) for us to test it slowly.. it came out too quick from what im expected.. and the topic only include the Download Link for those camdriver.. all those trash talking are not allowed what do you think?.. more convinient IMO ... just my two cents..

9.89 have better sharp ...... but sometime cant get AF function correctly.....
the AF sometime cant get the focus, so need to close cover n open again....
