the phone doesn't feel as solid as expected.
the housing of the nokia 6300 is much stronger.
however i do like this phone a lot, first i got to sell my k610 and p990

i dont know how you can say that, its one of the best made phones to date. way better than the 8800 imo!

I think that's very personal. I have to agree with himlims_nl that i've my doubts about the strength.... I've expected more of this phone

simple fact; the housing of the nokia 6300 is hard to bend... need quite brute force.
if you take the housing of the t650 i can bend it with 2 fingers...
so i'm very shure the housing of the t650 is less solid compared to the nokia 6300.
besides the back cover, the overall housing doesn't feel so good.
the old T series (t65,t610/t630 were well known for their quality and sturness) the t650 doesn't seem to keep up the tradition

I have now put a few pics in this thread where they should go. Retail T650 with R7AA firmware.

Dunno what you've seen, but mine feels very high quality and solid. The case would be hard to break as it's quite thin, but it's secure on the phone and overall the phone seems very solid. This phone is made from really nice quality plastics and what seems to be stainless steel on the outside, so how is that lower quality than the tacky plastic and easily dented aluminium of the old T series phones?

On another note... Received a call while transferring a file to the phone from FMA and the vibrator and key effects were going, but the screen went blank and the was no ring tone. It carried on doing this after the caller had hung up and i had to remove the battery to stop it. All was fine afterwards tho. Anyone else had that?
