Damn! I thought this had been fixed.
I'm sure the reason why it isn't fixed is because it isn't listed in the first post in this thread, so the SE guys aren't aware of if..

I guess that is what is meant by "Corruption of the file system can occur affecting photos, applications etc"
Although instead of being hidden away it should be written in big red letters - Having to reformat the phone because you can't text is a bit more important methinks than it occasionally crashing with some odd accessory!

Hi there, new to the forum,

Quite a Sony Ericsson fan as I've K750, K800, K810 and now...

Recently bought a K850 on o2 and pleased with it, but from reading this thread I have same problems.

First of all flash was my own fault holding it wrong...

Second the media player I like the setup of it but its slow.. and dosn't delete files untill or leave and come back in...

Video playback is out of sync with audio.. Think this only applies to mpeg4 codec which is so crap..

Why didn't they test these sort of things...

Some one make me happy and tell me there is a firmware update soon!??!

Jon

It is a bug. I have it from the moment I updated to 37. At 29 it wasn't here.

Are you talking about the "Operation failed", or some other bug?

Yes I am talking about this. I am going to take it to SE (I talked with them) to reprogram it.

Beh.. Please report back if the reprograming (don't) help.

Everything is OK now.

When you unlock the phone, (from the black screen)
The top half the keypad comes on for a second before the bottom half. Any one noticed this?

Same here!

That's normal. It's supposed to be a fade effect!

Haha yeah I know, but mine has this HUGE column of unlighted area... not your typical LCD backlight bleed LOL... yikes.
