Anyone else notice some UI changes in rog's example?

I like the fluidity of the UI now. It probably still has debug code running in the background, so there's still room for improvement. The final build should and would blow everyone off their feet, I hope!

My only wish is for customized color schemes for the UI. Blue is serene and all, but I'd rather take a dark, contrasty grayscale palette like on the HTC phones. SE says UX is open, so theme creators could theoretically make brilliant skins for Timescape and Mediascape.

it is evident now, that the handset is still in tweaking phase. lots of things need to be made onto SE UI skin above Android. look at the point where the guy accesses message scape, you sense a bit of stuttering, i think (actually i bet) this will definitely be resolved, and the speed will increase whenever the device gets launched.

i have a question though:
do you think there will be any possibility to shift to the original Donut UI? i mean, skip SE's customized UI?

I hope so, but this time I couldn't find any icon in the program launcher like in the previous videos - Dev Tools or Debug Menu...

Just came from rog's site for the x10 preview. I have to say that it's getting faster and faster and I also noticed that he did not complain about the display. My concern, however, is the theme...it's blue and quite boring..and it's all over the place, from media to phone functions. I want something more high contrast and darker (black or dark gray black ground with splashes of color..well, the entertainment unlimited wallpaper is quite well done). I'm hoping there would be theme options. last but not least, although it's probably just a minor issue that's been nagging at me, on the music section of mediascape when browsing, and aslo on the now playing windows, the album art is stretched. It's definitely not a good look IMO. The proportions should be kept when resizing pics and just crop the sides. It's probably still under development, seeing that concept video preview.

This phone is getting more and more tempting.

Only thing putting me off is not being able to sync as well with os x.
