Pureview is amazing but it's on Symbian - it's like have a quad core VCR player in todays age.
Regarding specs, I'll say it again, only the geeks care about whether it has S3 or S4 or Adreno so and so, the average consumer doesn't care, they just want a fast, fluid experience, and a device that looks good.

Hi.
I'm afraid to say I haven't got much time to properly test the Xperia S. I'm trying to get some time and record a video so you can see how really good the screen is, and if there really is an issue with the 3 screen buttons.
For the time now, here you have 3 photo samples I took yesterday with the quick load and shoot camera option. Considering my previous phone, I think they are really good.
As for the music player, I have found it quite simple, and a little boring. (My previous phone was a Samsung Wave, it has BADA Os and I think the music player its much better). The music quality I think it's pretty much the same as any other phone. It will depen on the earphone you use (In my opinion).
About the touch buttons on the bottom, I haven't got anyproblem with them. You have to get use to touch the white dots, instead of the cristal icons on the transparent antena. You have to use the base of your finger, not the nails, and with a little preassure they work fine. At least for me.
Will keep testing the phone and sharing my opinions with all you.

They only said they FELT that way but are not sure. PhoneArena stated in call volume is loud and clear on both sides and noise cancellation works like a charm as well.

Call quality with the Xperia S is very good, with loud and clear voices in the earpiece on our end, while the other side said we sounded very clean, with strong volume, and the noise-canceling mics managed to weed out the ambient sounds while we were talking.

Speaker is very loud, after taking my first phone call with Xperia S I thought it was at maximum volume and it turns out to be only at 60%, I had to turn it at 50% now. Headset volume is clear and loud, I checked the default setting. It was only at about 70% and I have already felt enough.

Sometimes in any phone I find certain calls are quieter than others anyway. My Arc S is chrystal clear. Same with the Ray one of the best call quality I have heard

Exactly. As well as we need hightech, I don't think rushing things makes sense.
Quadcore will be a standard in a year or so. I think most of software doesn't utilize
even dualcore properly.
As for comparison with this Nokia Pureview:
12mpx against 41mpx? Nokia's photos take about 10MB each..... Idiotic comparison.
On the other hand, this Nokia seems like a crappy phone overall, both design and OS wise.

Never had N8 photos come out that dark on auto when I had it even in poor lighting
Actually, I know for a fact that some of the N8's best photographers would have to increase its EV for the best results. I find it the opposite with SE cams whereby lowering EV helps get better contrast and overall quality.

Ok now I'm going to sound whiney.
Port flaps will seriously annoying but what will annoy these users of the "S" is no dock - I see this more prevalent to USA/N.American users more. I may just get the Ion and take off the port flaps but I'm really liking the XS more.
