@DACHA Yeah... I've read about those batteries... But can those external batteries last as much as internal batteries do...???

Quad core,1080p screen and a paltry 2,400mAh battery?? Think with all that power the battery should be larger

Much better than HTC J's 1900mAh

Actually, he meant the HTC J Butterfly, a 5" Full HD phone for Japan. It has a 2020 mAh battery, randomuser probably saw the HTC J's battery which is a different phone. HTC and Verizon would announce the US counterpart of the phone on Tuesday, and an Asian counterpart has already leaked as well.

The external batteries are used to charge the internal batteries. I do not see a reason why they should not last for a long time.

@DACHA On XB they'd mentioned that it'll give reasonable amount of output time... So I thought Phone would use the external one directly... Didn't know that the external one actually charges the internal one.... Thank U for your info...

@randomuser: You said South America will get Yuga. I'm happy with that, as I live in Brazil and not everything comes to here. You also said it will have 4G. Does that will include the Brazilian variant? I mean, we use 2,5 GHz for 4g (which will take a good while to get to my city, but anyway), and 4G is still on testing. Plans to release on biggest cities by start of next year, I think.

The thing is: does it will have a 4G LTE 2,5 GHz version for Brazil?

Please, reforcing what I asked.

I believe that one bright day in the near future Sony will no longer be part of our everyday life. Hopefully.

Haha.
You're pretty funny. Ever tried to become a comedian?

That will likely never happen. Even if Sony bow out of Consumer electronics, they still have massive arms in the entertainment industries and are a colossal player in the Imaging sector. So even if Sony stop making smartphones, they'll find a way into your life in some way, probably through music, movies, cinemas, smartphones and other things.

@XYZ I second your comment abt Sony's entertainment business...

Sony holds the highest market share in the Hollywood for the year 2012... Even WB, Buena Vista(Disney) are behind them...

I'm also interested in what software enhancements Yuga and the 2013 range will come with. Yuga seems to have all the bases covered hardware wise, fast, tough, waterproof, great design and great internals. There is nothing much else to wish for.

To be honest, they could have gone with NovaThor A9600 with its Dual Core A-15 CPU and PowerVR Series 6 GPU. Given how the PowerVR SGX54xMPx are the most powerful mobile GPU's around more powerful than even then Adreno 320, it wouldn't be a stretch to think that Series 6 would sit on top for the next few years too.
If they can get that in any one of their top-tier smartphones and tablets, they'll definately have the nerds on their side. Especially given their willingness to support the AOSP.
