Downside? Hmm... I experience having the t9 input a bit delayed when posting here in esato. Sometimes lang but i assume that happens when the phone is busy trying to get a signal. This post was posted from a T68i

@G_M: Would you know if Smartnet can fix the T39m standby problem as mentioned on this thread --> http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=4394&forum=2#post57748 ?

I just got a genuine BUS-11 battery from the US for my phone and it seems that my unit's got the same problem. I charged my new battery for more than 4 hours last night and upon turning on, the display indicates a LOW standby time of 68 hours and 4 + hours talktime. Note that these time estimates are just SIMILAR to what I get on my old battery.

FYI, I had my phone's firmware upgraded to R4A008 (European) last week in your Buendia office. And my phone is dated 02w09.

Please let me know what you think. I'm also planning to change the phone cover to beige.

Thanks!

@619

I have checked, and you are right, the settings for GPRS and MMS which I downloaded via "go t68i" remained in my phone. Got confused there coz I had 4 settings there befroe the upgrade: 2 for each of MMS and GPRS, the reason being that there was already an account for both on my phone when I got my unit from Globe. They suggested for us to get via "go" despite this, so I did not overwrite the old settings, thus I have 4 --- that was before the upgrade. After the upgrade, the original settings were deleted but the ones I downloaded stayed put.

Sorry kung medyo magulo.

@ lilalf

I want one also, please do post here if you get wind of some place where you could get one. Those things are hard to get by these days. I have practically swept the glorieta-greenbelt-rockwell areas with sore feet and lost hope. Or if anyone else could please advise kung saan pa merun nun please, very much appreciated. Thanks.
