surely it would be best to not host it somewhere else.. cos if youve got login details to guru on a different site.. the potential for someone haxing in and breaking everything doubles

I dont think Ed meant host elsewhere all the time, just for testing. Besides, connecting to the guru db from another server would require extra coding and slower access times. But i think that idea of no html posting is a good one. This message was posted from a Nokia

i can backup the database via the phpbb control panel and also by phpmyadmin but i have never tried to restore one from it... what exactly do you have to do to the forum to implemement the wap function? and yes chris i do trust u and appreciate the work ur doing to wapalise it but please dont break guru
