racoonice, making a decision on which platform (Pocket PC, Palm OS, Symbian) all depends on your ultimate objectives. It is not EASY, DON'T RUSH, take time because it is an investment. Look at me, I already have two generations of the Windows CE incarnation, sayang. The Casio is now a gameboy. Be prepared that if you buy a Pocket PC-based platform, it will be obsolete (technically) in less than two years, because technology improves so fast. Palm OS based products, hardware wise, is in the same boat. Palm OS has support for many medical applications, Pocket PC is lacking. Is this important to you? Pocket PC platform is becoming bigger and bigger (well, everything is, the first time I used Unix the kernel is 16KB now it's a bloody 16 MB) which is not appealing to me anymore. Do your research, first. And do it well.
