Daming matrona dito sa Starbuck's... nilabas ko na yung t68 ko pero walang pumapansin! I guess the appeal is limited to the younger generation.

here's my two cents on the pda brouhaha....
pocket pc for me is better than palm os (do i see some eye brows raising???) because most of my pc software is ms. pocket pc provides seamless connectivity and integration to ms products. just for example, our office email clients is lotus notes (by ibm). straight from the box, pocket pc does not support connectivity to notes, i have to buy a seperate package from commontime called cadensa to sync notes to my darn pda. of course i wouldn't have to talk about outlook's connectivty to pocket pc.
but generally, almost all of the pc in the philippines are ms based, most offices uses outlook as their email client (hopefully my next office would uses outlook) so pocket pc is, i guess, a good buy. not to mention that ms is now expanding its technology base to the mobile industry so a lot of new things will really happen to pocket pc. though as what arnold said, it becomes obselete (ouch!) in a matter of 2 years. what mobile device doesn't?

What are the MMS settings for Globe? Is their MMS system up and running? Thanks!
I'm looking into the Sony Clie NR70... I can't ignore the fact that the screen res is DOUBLE that of the iPaqs.
But I'll put off buying a PDA until I absolutely need it, for now, my T68's PDA functions are enough... syncs with Outlook for contacts, checks my email from both my Destiny and I-Manila accounts, and has notes just for random reminders.

@dlreyes: put your phone inside your pocket, so that it creates an image of a "bulge". Now THAT will create attention among them
@Dokraccon: sorry can't be of help. I'm totally oblivious with PDA stuff. basta kung saan ka masaya, suportahan ta ka . Nyarrr!
For an ignorant Joe like me, I want a PDA that I can use as a phone. That's why I'm still looking for an old R380

pogie and arnoldC, re: the question on which platform: Pocket PC or PDA... i used to have those questions too. but it seems the question never ends. si guess we have to conclude: each to his own preference. no one is "right" or "wrong" in his/her own decision. maybe it is like choosing which color of clothes to use for the day... someone may think the color is tacky, but another thinks you're smashing in it.
ipaqs/jornadas really look grand to me. fast compatibility with the PC we use right now is practical. but then comes the folding 70v clies... which uses the PDA platform, but are so great a tech-tool for us... again... decisions! so, when will this end?
