today, i've updated my phone to R1FA035 generic (greece) (from R1EA037)and no problem at all. I never had brob or reboots, just the thing with the volume buttons at start. and my device is from the first devices of k850. only hardware faults, plastic parts squeezes a bit.
In every update my phone is becoming better and better.
The newer thing i noticed today is that in "media" section on "settings" there's an option saying "update media".
I presses the info shoftkey and says "If you have problems with your media content, you can recreate the content on your memory card. This may take a few minutes."
sounds good and handy.
anyone else noticed anything new?

there is no latin america version, but there is america generic it has most of the languages for the america cont..., check your hidden menu and look what region your phone is, I dont know what region apac anz is.

I said it a few times already install the language package and firmware that you want, but be aware that if you update thru SEUS it will put back the default region.

dont want to lose or afraid to lose your language cough up cash to the flashers is that simple, wait for your favorite flasher to have the FW with language that you want, or use the free SEUS.

here is wht i found..

media player is still SLOW !!!

but one thing is there is a new function to recreate the database of the media... i dont know wht it will do...

UI- same speed... i didnt find any speed.. please for all.. if u think its fast.. and use it .. it might feel fast.. but apparently there isnt anything fast... or improved.. same old...speed only..

and another thing.. still mediaplayer is SH!T slow.. its like either u work mediaplayer alone and forget everything .. or dont play mediaplayer and do all other stuff ( msging, picture viewing, app running , etc )

yes the theme mediaplayer background ahs been fixed..

camera is till the same.. no improvement..

actually i did a full resest... now my phone has nothing ... no songs/ appss... just like a brand new phone.. but still the phone works slow only.. i dont know why !!!!

and dont worryt about reseting ( master ) .. nothing happened for me.. BROD for eg...


yes there is slight improvement in volume and music quality....

java version has been updated to 8.2.1 and text version to BO.... i dont know wht it means..

no new theme added ...

no other extra feature added...


so i think this firmy is nothing but eyewash RELEASE.....

i didnt find anything good in this...


please someone post wht u guys havbe found.. may be then i can concentrate on that particular aspect and can give feedback on that ....

since i havent expirirned BROD.... i dont have to care about this firmy..

ya.. anyway it may be BROD free... but for others who doesnt have BROD... this ifrmy isnt that much worth....

I have been using SEUS without issue and have had no experiences of BROD... i bought this phone maybe 4-5 months ago and live in the us...

Up until recently whenever i have connected my phone and tried to flash it... it always has given me an option to re-flash it if no update exists. However while trying to get the latest firmware "35" it just says... "no update available"

and gives me no option to reflash the phone...

Any ideas if something is wrong?

by that time i could have sold my phone and moved to another one... SE most probably...

so i think its utter waste waiting waiting waiting for firmy to hit and finding it ..to be another worhtless SH!T....

wtf are the SE coders/programmers doing....????

wake up.... cant u see... just simply by playing a song in mediaplayer puts the phone into a tortoise shelll..... ???????????????????


we need a fast ui... we dont care about some small ball flying out from the side... or a SH!T media player which searches for all media files when i store thenm only in two folders namelt MUSIC And VIDEO.... IDIOTS TO THE CORE !!!!!

all this made me to shift to KDPLAYER 0.95.... ROCKS .. and with EQ.. its seriuosly rocks... and skins are awesome....


all we need is a fast UI and a phone which can respond instantly when call to a number... not wait for a hours and connect to a call.... !!!!


nowthey are announcing a 8.1 phone.... i dont know how slow its gona be.....
