Sorry to disappoint here guys,
But I have the SO905iCS, which uses the new 'PhotoFlash' LED - and to be honest, while it is rather more powerful than Xenon on the K Series, it comes no where near the ability of the Xe Flash.
With PhotoFlash LED you still suffer from the same problem of a blurred photograph - which Xenon eliminates with its high intensity burst - and the PhotoFlash gives somewhat warmer and grainier images...
However, I feel if Sony Ericsson can adopt a more mature Sensor, with decent Optics - it will offset the need for a Xe Flash.
After all, the SO905iCS Camera Module is larger than that in the K850i too...
Its the extra space taken up by the Larger Module that eats the space for the Xenon Capacitators...

That's nice to hear now there'll be even more apps for SE devices.
Is this project only for the A200 platform or is UIQ also supported (I mean the flash part)?
