. I wrote a PSP review, back in January, for EngadgetForum, i'll see if I can dig it up. Major Issue with the PSP is that game authors dont want to come close to it with a one mile pole, less then 1% of the handheld gaming customers own a PSP, With the UMD, the cost of the media is very high. Maybe the PSP2 (which hopefully will use mini-DVD, which is just like a mini-CD or half-CD and can be read on all drives.) will be better. But the good news is that lostsa companies are slowly moving towards the PSP, Activision and ID have even quoted unoficially that Doom3 will be available on it.
for 20k, i will suggest that you go in for a creative PMC. just try it, you'll prolly like it. I used one in the TechExpo 2004 in delhi this chrismas, it was quite impressive.
Sony also made a mistake of implementing ms duo's which are not only expensive but suck teh balls. The video and audio playback capability is of no use if memory is so expensive.
I didn't like the creative pvp because it supports only windows media formats, where as the archos pvp supports divx, w00t!
