best one is wotan, i have used both and wotan is so simple plug it in it does it 9 minutes 10 seconds every time. Great service always first even before SE and they get the versions which SE dont get. How do they get them so quickly

Actually WOTAN gets them from SE as does DaVinci Team and TMS. They purchase access to the servers from SE. SE does not release as many versions as the others simply because they are the OFFICAL releases from SE, and SE allows (my guess here) them to flash first. You are getting actual SE software but software that has been hacked. The other versions from WOTAN, TMS, and DaVinci are sometimes hacked versions and not supported by SE. If you flash your phone, you void the warrantee.

From looking at the original post from MWarner, it does not look like the price to pay is worth the upgrade. Can those that paid for it verify if this is so?

TIA

Just upgraded mine through woton... easy as!

I have noticed in this new firmware that the screen savers are now very smooth compared to the previous firmware it replaces. Has anyone else noticed the difference??

Definitely work the upgrade...

I'm with sapporo - before I go paying Wotan for the upgrade, any of you guys experience many of the bugs being fixed? I'd like to see the call log bug fixed, and the menu selection "titles" via. numpad fixed.

As for the K790i, anybody associated with SE know when the R1ED001's variant for this model will come out?

For those who updated their firmware I want to ask them if the volume in mp3 player is better because the main thing I don't like about the phone is quiet MP3 playback(even in hpm 70 which are very good especilally on walkman series).

I think I 'may' have found a new feature:

During a call you can bring up the menu and select an option (which I don't think was there before) called 'Transfer Sound', when selected you can then transfer the call to a Bluetooth device I think.

Was this option in the earlier firmware?

Not in my K800, so maybe some have that option and some not
