Im really impressed with the pics on this phone. For a 3.2mp fixed focus cam the pics I have seen are decent enough imo. Colour representation is spot on too. I would even go so far as to say I think the colours look more vivid than on the K850 and definatley better than my P1.

Got my W890i on upgrade with vodafone last week and I'm loving it. They originally sent me a Nokia 6300, nice enough phone and probably the best phone available for the price point (£70) but as an owner of 2 previous SONY's (K610i, T630) it just didn't feel right; no 3G, poor camera I sent it back.

Really like the keys on the 890i, perfect for texting, and fast to. Great colour screen. Forget about the camera not having auto-focus — it couldn't if it tried as the phone is so thin. The photos are great, I always think of camera photos as sketchbook – if you want to take good looking photos use a real camera. Yes the speaker is a bit tinny, but that's a compromise for having such a thin metal design. Yes vibrate could be a bit stronger. I moved some iTune mpgs directly from my Mac to the phone through the usb connection - easy to do - and fast. Sound quality through headphones is excellent, better than my iPod Nano. Have set-up email for first time and that was fairly easy to do. Web is fast.

I got black, but I think silver is good to. Don't really think one is better than the other but will mention the only downside on silver is it's a little bit more difficult to read the letters on the keys. But that is a very minor criticism. Whichever you opt for you will love it.

I highly recommend this phone.

If you want something with better photo-quality wait for the C902.

Does this come with a case in box?

I remember I think the W880 came with a nice slim case from which the phone could slide in and out really easily. Where can I get one like that for the W890 if it doesnt come in the box?

The W890 doesn't come with any case, and my W880 didn't either.
