I'll play with other phones for now and get the C905 for my birthday in January. By that time I hope the price would've dipped, even slightly since October...if it stays on course for the Q4, '08 release.

I will definitely get this phone too. I love the design. Simple and business like. Always have had SE phone's beginning with the t610. I think that one was the best designed phone ever, this one's getting close to that design.

I've got theory, all good SE phones are the ones that bring inovation first time. First Walkman phone = brilliant, first cybershot phone = amazing, 4th 5MP phone = not so good, attempt at busness phone = not so brilliant, maybe the c905 will follow this pattern as its the first of its kind

Yes thats true and very strange..instead of getting better model by model,they got worse!!!

This is true imho. They wanted to go forward, everything was going OK until the K850 went out... I think the new A200 platform is the problem for all this mess
is in these days... Once the platform is bug free, the phones will be aswell. So the C905 has some time until it is released, and the platform should be fixed on time too. So I think it will be stable and great phone

wish it will be a great phone with great camera(not like k850's) and bug free because for me personally its the last chance i give to se to produce something good...i was very pleased with my k800,and VERY dissapointed to sell it and buy k850i...
