They havent released a decent phone since the k800 and smartphone since the p910.

I have been told that the Xperia looks very nice with a high level finish and quality materials. If Eldar says its nice then it must be amazing since Eldar is very difficult to please.
The 8MP Walkman is a very good all-rounder, the camera is meant to be very good and the sound quality is supposedly excellent. I'm thinking that it could easily out sell the C905 since Walkmans have always been cooler.
Unfortunately, as Santa was saying earlier HTC will be hot and Nokia could be even hotter. They have a seriously high-end touchscreen to come but not sure when.
One thing I know is that if there are no delays and cancellations by
like last year, they will surprise us with something. I'm sure PK, Mizzle and co. know this which is why they are not giving the hype so lets hope
stick to their plan!

And its about damn time SE take a leaf from the T-series design manual!!! I designed a concept a very long time ago which had a back design which emulated that of T-series cameras (http://www.esato.com/board/ui/zXlW28Yu9SVsUbASMB8T.jpg) so I'm glad they're making some changes to what they usually do, anyway.
The Xperia sounds good, if it exists, and if what is being said is true. But I want it to go down a different road to the X1, in a way. I would actually like it to have the same formfactor as the X1, because for me that is ideal. But I don't want it to be so painstakingly 'premium'. What does that even mean? Expensive? Use of unecessarily fancy materials? I think it's just marketing bullsh*t. Correct me if I'm wrong, X1 owners, but isn't the 'chrome' edging on the X1 just finished plastic? On top of that- peeling plastic, scratched back covers, loose stylus silos and whatever else- I don't call that too premium. Instead what I want them to do is to make it HIGH END, not premium. Better that it does everything (FFS, throw in an accelerometer!!!) and is a little more cost efficient than being so fancy.

SE will release under SF this year. AFAIK Q3 but donno for sure.
Will be new platform, upgrade on A200.
