Thinking about getting this or the N8, I prefer Android but want a decent camera too, I don't think the X10 camera is that good, For me the Arc's camera needs to be a big improvement especially indoors and in lowlight.

Why are you not happy with X10 camera? I'm surprised by your statement cause I feel it's got one of the best camera smartphone in the market.

X10
N8
In low light you can see X10 photos have better detail, brightness, spot on colours while maintaining lesser noise, that's like better in everything. I seriously don't know what the N8 buzz is all about, anything N8 can do, X10 can do better IMO. I seriously doubt the Arc would take a step backwards

If X10 lower EV 1 maybe 2 steps, I think light should have better control as N8 did.
Is both picture from your hands my friend Mode?

Both full auto in my hands my friend. Don't worry about the glare from the lights, that's normal for a picture with such brightness. Take note that if I lowered the EV by 1 or 2 steps the X10 photo would've totally trashed N8 as it will have even lesser noise, better contrast etc. The N8 photo here will totally be noise ridden if I increased the EV to look as bright as X10. Both photos taken in auto to the best of my skill.
*edit*
Btw even at 6mp the X10 photo has better detail than the 9mp N8 photo.

SE are neglecting this phone, all the fuss is about the Play.
I can understand the logic to an extent, the Play is where they feel they can make a lot of money from and it being a 'Playstation' phone attracts a lot of attention.
I am only interested in the Arc cause it really is the kind of phone I was hoping for from SE.

Yeah I saw that, thanks to HDMI's control channel and Bravia Sync.
The only flaw here is the lake of any Dock for these new phones ( specially Arc. / Play's dock does not connect the HDMI cable )...
It will be very nice to have a dock with Audio, HDMI & USB and put it near the TV, so connecting the phone will be very easy to all these connections... Audio for the home audio system, HDMI to the TV and the USB to charge or the HTPC...
some peoples may not need the audio jack as they have a AV receiver with HDMI audio in... but some may not have so having every port in the dock is nice...
I hope

consider these small but important things in future phones... specially the next high-end phone...

nope I meant there's no dock for Neo, Pro & Arc even thought all of them support this feature...
The Play's dock only offer USB and 3.5mm ports, no HDMI...
