Since it is not for sale here, I do not have choice.
Gonna buy Motorola G200 during Black Friday.
Just need to wait another good price, stupid Motorola increased its price 20% today. 😒

I never got this high score with mine. Wondering if it's because of 16GB RAM or xperia stream
Its the fan, not the RAM. I tried it without the fan and its the same as common variants. Large RAM only benefits heavy games (like emulations) and multitask. But there are benefits of having larger storage: slightly faster read/write speed and less performance degradation when used for some long time. Flash memory degrades a little bit everyday, I have seen old Xperias became too slow because of degraded flash chip (slow read/write speed), not by battery degradation or overheats.

If people in charge of development are in Japan, how can ppl in China know so much about it to speak on weibo?
They either learned from the component suppliers or talking out of their ass

Gossips from China say Apple may have made huge mistake with new camera. That it would not be any better than 13 pro . I feel so satisfied to read this.
We do not want the periscope with 455. The one with 557 is way better despite being slower and more expensive. Thank you !!

That ship has sailed, iPhone is going all in with qb 48mp. iPhone will introduce 48mp on UW next generation most likely and so on. They simply want to fight with Samsungs and Xiamis in imaging and video and in order to do that they need qb sensors. Sony on the other hand couldn't care less but it is what it is and next xperias will carry qb as well. Maybe not the next Pro but the next 1 for sure.
Apple did tone down saturation with the 14 so that's a good premise. We are finally getting there where we will no longer see HDR puke of images, oversharpened images and toxic contrast. Slowly we are getting there.

Gossips from China say next "pro-i" and mark 5 still use bayer for 24mm. The 16mm of mark 5 would be 48MP 1/2.4", both using a quadbayer version of 557 for the 70-200mm. The whole combo 1" + 1/1.3" + 1/1.67" for next "pro-i" seems too good to be true. 1/1.3" for 16mm would be too much waste of space, no need for more than 1/1.9".
I have noticed pro max 14 behaves less like 13 pro max and closer to what xperia would do in some situations. Some photos had brihter foreground, but also brighter background. No underexposed subject in favor of sky. People looks like texture is lower quality than expected and raw of 48MP mode seems 💩.

Possibly true, my old macbook air's camera, 2015 has a better camera than my new air, 2022 model.
For the sake of design, Apple is decreasing some quality on their devices.

Yeah next 1 IV enhanced edition aka PRO will just switch the main sensor compared to 5 IV, I guess that's pretty much like done deal. Unless they really want to surprise us and keep variable zoom from 1 IV but I doubt it.
Anyway I can totally buy mark V ultrawide and telephoto to have qb instead of the main sensor. But somehow I still belive main sensor will be iPhone 14 sensor but it's up to Sony if they will keep the pixel field at 48mp qb or usual 12mp. We shall wait but what's for sure is that 1 IV has perfected the current setup and next generation needs to go to the new stuff.
Honestly I think PRO-I was the first Xperia that deserved the money they've been asking and then came along 1 IV which is worth every penny (unfortunatelly that's what 1 III should have been) and now 5 IV seems like a even better deal than 1 IV. Next 1 IV PRO will probably be brutal refresh of previous PRO-I. Can't wait. For sure I won't be changing my PRO-I anytime soon but I'm excited to see what's next. I guess my next phone will be 5 V as I am so tempted right now to get 5 IV as well. But that's just the excitment feeling I got, it will go away.

Haha Sony gave options of off, DRO or HDR. More than enough and their HDR was not overly done. Always love their natural shots! And if really want over saturated fantasy island? Edit it ~ 🤣

Pdx-221 and pdx-222. If there is one for november, what's the other?
I would be satisfied if next pro-i keeps same design. Also, just give it 50MP with 5ms readout with 30Fps 120 AE/AF like A1.
